Then in the late fall, I had to transfer my domains to a different registrar due to the exorbitant fees being required by Melbourne IT. Melbourne IT used to dominate the registrar market globally, but those days are over now! I found a super deal with 1and1, which renewed my current domains at an unbelievably low special rate and added 2 more domains at just 99 cents each for the first year. They are then $14.99 to renew subsequent years which is still an excellent deal.
Finally, my machine crapped out a couple of weeks ago prompting me to ask to borrow a computer from a friend who also happens to be a client. After 1 week of using his personal laptop, which I configured for him, we drove down to Fry's Electronics in Indy where I was the recipient of a brand, spankin' new Dell Inspiron 3847 Desktop PC with an Intel Core i5 processor, 12 GB of memory, 1 TB of hard drive, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and tons of ports for a really good price. The salesman pitched in a Dell 24' LED monitor for barely over a c-note.
Life is Good Again!
